Jenny has come l from Brooklyn to volunteer at a hospital in Askelon and help the state of Israel.
Erez plans to do the opposite and leave Israel, look for a new direction in his life after completing his army service and wishes to try to make it as a musician in America.
One wants to join and contribute to Israel while the other plans to separate and detach from his country.
However fate brings them together in the same apartment during an especially difficult period filled with insecurity and bomb sirens.
“Ä Little Light” is a hilarious and moving romantic comedy that shines a bright light of hope that invites us to consider important questions of identity and meaning in the very complex times of today
Is a wonderful show, funny and exciting, which you connect with easily from the beginning - this is thanks to the bright humor it has, and thanks to the fact that it is contemporary and realistic and touches the Israeli being and being in a real, reliable and authentic way. Howard Rypp's excellent direction flows and develops with beautiful and smooth transitions between times and situations in an entertaining way, with English and Hebrew mixing there in particularly funny sections. But amidst all the laughter there is also serious insights - about the love of the land, about the special Jewish people and the sense of belonging. Everything is done in the correct and precise dosage. A little Light is an exciting romantic comedy that shines a small light of hope within us and invites us to question our identity and its meanings
